Our workshops and educational resources share a fascinating glimpses into the wonderful world of bees and are designed to help spread awareness about the importance of bees and what we can do to help protect them.

There are many ways the topic of bees can be incorporated into the curriculum. Our interactive sessions offer hands on, curriculum-aligned learning for children of all ages.

We have experience delivering bee talks and workshops to children of all ages,from EYFS through to KS2.

What to expect

Our engaging workshops take children on an exciting journey into the world of honeybees. They’ll discover what makes a honeybee special, where bees live, and the different roles within a hive.

With real beekeeping tools and equipment, they’ll learn how a beekeeper cares for bees, how honey is made, and why pollination is so important.

Children can also take a glimpse inside our Observation Hive to meet real-life beesup close!

Through interactive activities, we’ll explore how plants and pollinators communicate, the fascinating lifecycle of a honeybee, and simple ways we can all help protect these vital creatures.

Plus, no bee experience is complete without delicious honey tasting!

We understand that not everyone’s learning journey looks the same.

That's why our workshops and educational resources can be tailored to suit home education groups, and other local community groups such as Girl Guides and Scouts. Our interactive bee talks, workshops and activities offer hands on, curriculum-aligned learning for children of all ages.
